Below are the certificates that accompany the components of our latex mattresses as well as our accessory products such as organic sheets, pillows, comforters and more.
The Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS) requires that the process from harvesting the organic latex from the rubber tree to molding the rubber sap in sheets of latex for latex mattresses is certified.
Certificate
FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits. This certification is for the sustainable wood used in our latex mattress foundations.

The Oeko-Tex certification affirms that a textile product is free of harmful chemicals. It sets the standard for textile safety, from yarn to finished product. Every textile with the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 label is certified, meaning it has passed the safety tests for the presence of harmful substances in textiles.
Furthermore, they have standards on manufacturing emissions and measure carbon and water footprints. Non-textile manufacturers can also carry the certification if they meet OEKO-TEX emission requirements.
Certificate Certificate
The Cradle to Cradle certification requires that products meeting this certification are using sustainable and renewable energy and water sources for their manufacturing practices.
Certificate
Eco Wool is manufactured by the Woolgatherer’s Carding Mill. The wool is sourced from United States farms, primarily in the Northwest. The wool and sheep are raised with standards as organic, but it is not certified organic. The sheep are required to be able to graze, and the use of pesticides is restricted as well as antibiotics, hormones, and other chemicals.

The Global Organic Textile Standard was created to certify textiles as organic. In the organic mattress industry, certification covers organic cotton, organic wool, and complete organic mattresses. Sleeping Organic does not have a organic certified mattress. However, components of our mattress have organic certification and some of our accessory vendors are organic certified.
Certificate
The Eco-Institut certification ensures that there are no harmful materials including volatile organic compounds (VOCs), organic pollutants, heavy metals, pesticides, phthalates, or the presence of formaldehyde.
Certificate
The Rainforest Alliance certification means that the manufacturing process promotes and considers the environmental effects and protects forest biodiversity.
Certificate
This certificate ensures that the latex is 100% natural and contains no fillers.
Certificate
This certificate ensures that the Talalay latex was manufactured using renewable electricity generated by windmills in the EU.
Certificate
LGA Certification is administered by TUV Rheinland AG, a global provider of technical, safety, and certification services with headquarters in Cologne, Germany.

Also known as confidence in textiles, OEKO-TEX is an independent label for various textiles.
Some organic textiles sourced by Sleeping Organic are tested for harmful substances through OEKO-TEX.
