Personalized Mattress Returns and Layer Exchanges
100 Night Layer Exchanges for Personalized* Mattresses
- $75 per layer exchange plus Actual Shipping Cost: Includes round trip shipping expenses and pickup of return layer from your residence.
- $100 deposit per layer refunded upon receiving exchange layer. Credit card kept on file and billed full layer cost after 45 days.
- You may exchange up to 2 solid layers and 4 split layers.

45 Night Personalized* Mattress Returns
- You have 45 nights from the date of mattress delivery to initiate the return of your mattress.
- You are responsible for all the shipping expenses for original boxes and pickup from your residence.
- You are responsible for repackaging mattress in original boxes or boxes no larger than 21” x 21” x 36” or large package fees will apply.
Return kits can be purchased if needed for $99. Kits include boxes, plastic and return shipping labels.
*Not valid for “Closeout mattresses”
- All “closeout” mattresses are sold as-is.
- Due to the discounts and nature of the product, there are no exchanges or returns available for this product.
Topper Exchanges and Returns
30 Nights Topper Exchanges
- You have 30 nights from the date of delivery to initiate a topper exchange.
- You pay Actual Round Trip Shipping Cost per topper exchange and you may exchange up to 2 toppers.
- $100 deposit per topper exchange. This is refunded upon receiving the returned topper in good condition.
30 Nights Topper Returns
- Actual Shipping Cost to return your topper. Simply repackage topper in original box and request return by email.
- Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request return label(s).
- You are responsible for repackaging topper(s) in original boxes or boxes no larger than 21” x 21” x 36”.
Must drop package off at FedEx store or you can call FedEx to arrange for a FedEx pick up at: 800-GO-FEDEX.
Wood Foundations, Adjustable Foundations, Platform Beds
All wood foundations, adjustable beds and platform beds are non-refundable. We have an industry leading return program but we are strict on this one!
Pillow and Accessory Returns
We do not accept returns on opened or used bedding accessories due to regulations. These accessories include; sheets, mattress pads, mattress protectors, adjustable base accessories, pillows, pillow protectors, wool toppers, blankets, comforters and any other bedding.
If the pillow or accessory is unopened we will accept the return. The customer is responsible to pay Actual Shipping Cost that the accessory or accessories ships in.
Unopened and unused bedding accessories can be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery. Customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs.
Alaska and Hawaii
Free shipping and return programs apply to contiguous US only. Alaska and HI and some rural areas are subject to actual shipping and return shipping costs.
What do we do with returns?
All returns are inspected, properly deducted, and donated or repurposed to local organizations in the Mount Pleasant and Charleston, SC area.
Sleeping Organic never reuses or resells ANY used bedding or goods.
