Delivery

A two-person team assembles your new base or foundation in the bedroom, places your mattress on it, and takes all the packaging away.

Does not include removal of your old mattress.

A two-person team carries your old mattress out of the room it is in and takes it away. We recycle or donate it wherever the local facilities allow.

Does not include setting up your new mattress.

The whole job in one visit. We assemble the new base, set your mattress on it, then carry out your old mattress and box spring and take the packaging with us.

How in-home service works
  1. Order as normal. Your mattress ships to your door on the usual schedule. Nothing about the delivery changes.
  2. LoadUp emails you to schedule. Our service partner reaches out with a link to pick the date and two-hour arrival window that suits you.
  3. The crew handles the rest. Two people arrive, do the work you booked, and take every piece of packaging with them.

Available across the continental United States. Change or cancel free up to the day before your appointment. Service fees are not refundable once the appointment has been completed, and they are separate from the mattress trial and return policy.

The “Good” in Good, Better, Best

Everything an adjustable base needs. Nothing it doesn’t.

The Rio 3.0 gives you independent head and foot articulation, the Zero-G weightless preset, One-Touch Flat, a programmable memory position, and soft underbed lighting, all from a wireless 8-button remote. It pairs beautifully with a mattress built to flex, like our natural latex mattresses, sits inside most bed frames with its zero-clearance design, and folds for courier-friendly delivery. If you want massage and USB charging, step up to the Rio 4.0. If you want the essentials done right, this is your base.

See the base move

Read, relax, and sleep in the position that fits

Raise the head for reading or reflux relief, lift the feet for circulation, or press Zero-G to distribute your body weight evenly. One-Touch Flat brings everything back down instantly. Natural latex is an excellent match because it flexes with the base instead of fighting it.

Pair it with an organic latex mattress

Latex Compatible

Built for the way natural latex flexes

Natural latex is one of the best mattress materials for adjustable bases. It bends cleanly with the base, responds instantly when positions change, and does not rely on coils or glued comfort layers that can fight the motion. Pair the Rio 3.0 with a split latex mattress and each side can have its own position and firmness.

Questions

Rio 3.0 FAQ

What mattress works on an adjustable base?

Adjustable bases need a mattress designed to flex. Our natural latex mattresses are the ideal match: they bend cleanly, recover instantly, and their unglued layers move with the base instead of fighting it. Mattresses specifically built for adjustable beds also work. Traditional innerspring mattresses with rigid border rods should not be used on an adjustable base. If you are unsure about your current mattress, ask us before ordering.

What does zero clearance mean?

A zero-clearance base needs no open space underneath it, so it works sitting flat on a platform bed, on solid decking, or inside most bed frames and still articulates fully. That is different from a wall hugger design, which slides the bed backward as the head rises so you stay close to your nightstand; in the Rio lineup only the Rio 5.0 is a wall hugger.

What is the difference between Split King and King?

A Split King is two Twin XL bases side by side, which together are the exact size of a King (76″ x 80″). Each side moves independently, so one partner can read while the other sleeps flat. It is the configuration we recommend for couples and the one that ships fastest.

What does the Rio 4.0 add over the 3.0?

The Rio 4.0 adds head and foot massage with three intensities, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, three programmable presets instead of one, and a 13-button remote. If those matter to you, it is worth the step up. If not, the 3.0 covers the core adjustable-base experience.

Do I need a special bed frame?

No. The Rio 3.0 has a zero-clearance design, so it works freestanding on its own legs, on a platform, or inside most standard bed frames. The legs adjust from 3 to 12 inches to match your setup.

How does delivery work?

The Rio 3.0 ships free by courier in the contiguous U.S. The base folds for shipping, fits through standard doorways, and sets up in about 15 minutes with no tools required.
